Race Schedule & Upcoming Events

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 10TH: Opening Day Gathering and Picnic.

  • When:  9:45 am for running leaders and mentors;  10:15 for students
  • Where:  by L’Enfant Plaza Metro (at the corner of 7th Street and Maryland Avenue SW)
  • We will gather as a community at 10:15 am and then run or walk/run to Haines Point where we will have a barbecue and catch up with old friends and new.

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 17TH:  Regular Saturday Morning Practice that we will continue throughout the year.

  • When:  8:15 am.  Our run will begin promptly at 8:30.
  • Where:  by L’Enfant Plaza

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 18TH: Running Leader and Mentor Orientation

  • When:  10:00 am to 1:00 pm
  • Where:  Wilson High School, Tenleytown, DC.

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 24TH: Nickelodeon World Wide Day of Play

  • When:  9:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Where:  by the National Ellipse
  • Teens Run DC will be a featured partner in Nickelodeon’s WW Day of Play.  With expected attendance of more than 10,000, TRDC’s students with support of mentors will organize a series of fun activities for kids interested in fitness through play throughout the day.
